In this day and age our world is rapidly changing right before our eyes. Climate change is one of the most discussed topics of our time. The debate about whether or not climate change is man-made or not seems beside the point. We are all humans living on this beautiful planet and we feel it’s important that we all take steps in our individual lives to sustain the resources we have here. We encourage you to challenge yourself in your everyday life to be more mindful of your carbon footprint.

I am blessed and grateful to have grown up with parents who love to travel and who grew up abroad. Because of them, I was exposed to Syrian and French culture and I began traveling at a young age. I discovered that exploring and doing it with open eyes really put things in perspective and made me realize what a small space I occupy in this world. These humble feelings arose in the places we went while my heart was jostled in the places in between.

It's happening, 2014 is coming to an end. I've found that years don't seem to turn out how I anticipate them in the beginning but looking back they always prove to be an interesting ride.

2014 has definitely been interesting for TORRAIN and I can’t express enough how thankful I am that you’ve been on this ride with me. You have made it possible for TORRAIN to stand strong and it’s awesome that we've taken action toward the betterment of our communities as well as the sustenance of our planet together.
