We hope your fall is off to a wonderful start. The crisp air and changing colors have been comforting and beautiful here in Portland. We’re ready to ground down and embrace jackets and boots, hearty food, creativity and new activities. Hopefully this year will bring more snow to Mt Hood, our respite from the city in the winter time. Regardless of the season we love playing outside as we mentioned in a recent blog, Healthy Mind. Exciting news! Last month we did a fun collaboration with our local basketball team, the Portland Blazers! We transformed their old vinyl lamppost banners into our small duffel for a high profile fundraising event. The event turned out great and everyone loved the bags! We were so honored to work with and support our local team.
Our recent travels to Italy inspired new ideas and we just received some Moroccan feed and flour bags that we’re turning into new totes and backpacks for our upcoming catalog. We’re loving acquiring materials from different parts of the world. If you haven’t yet, check out Nyla’s latest blog to gain some insight into her Syrian upbringing which, is the root of our values.
